Leningrad Firefighter

Trying to relicate a WW2 propaganda photo. This depicted a Leningrad woman conscripted into the fire service and given roof-watching duty, scanning the sky for German bombers and equipped to deal with incendiaries. From context, the photo was taken in July-August 1941 before the city was besieged: the girl firefighter looks well nourished and has a pet dog with her. (the dog, alas, is highly unlikely to have survived the starvation winter of 1941-42). She is equipped with a fire-axe, a basic uniform, and a firefighter's helmet which is evidently far too big for her. The vignette is on a scratchbuilt base showing a section if roof - the chimney sets the scene - and is one of my rare forays into 1:35 modelling. The figure is from stock parts with a heavily modified firefighters' helmet (based on a WW1 French "Adrian" helmet)
