I had the idea some time ago of building dioramas as a sort of "film set" that could be used and reused for photography with different casts of characters. This one is a visualisation of a street in Berlin in April-May 1945 with the last defenders of Berlin mustering against as yet unseen Russians. In the foreground is a Luftwaffe female auxiliary with pistol gesturing at an unseen danger; behind her a Volksturrm partol forms up in an alley. A dead Volkssturmmann lies in the stret. Building scratchbuilt using ptoprietary textured plastic card; figures from the Pegasus Miniatures "Germans in Berlin" set - a unique figure set depicting civilian levvies and female fighters in the last days of the Reich. 1:72 throughout.
The Russians beat back hitler's reich and kicked their asses!
apparently i have exceeded the posting limit for sending submissions to the WW2 gallery, so I have provisionally submitted to "Modern Warfare". Perhaps a forum admin could adjust to the correct category? Thanks!
